Only The Strong (2xLP)

BLACK 2xLP

Originally released in 2003, Only The Strongmarked a pivotal moment in the career of BigNoyd. Arriving as his first full length follow up tohis 1996 underground seminal Episodes of aHustla, the album captured Noyd at his most focused and uncompromising, sharpening the Queensbridge realism that made his name synonymous with raw street reporting and unfiltered lyricism. Rooted in lived experience and street level authenticity, Only The Strong stands as a bold statement from an artist speaking with earned authority.
Now available as its first ever vinyl reissue, OnlyThe Strong is presented in partnership withCoalmine Reissues, where every detail matters. From sound to presentation, this edition hasbeen carefully considered and thoughtfullyexecuted. The album has been newlyremastered, delivering enhanced clarity, punch, and weight that brings new life to its grittyproduction.

Guest appearances from Noyds Mobb Deep cohorts Havoc and Prodigy do more thanreinforce the albums Queensbridge lineage. They underscore the chemistry and tension thatdefined an era. Production is supplied largely byThe Alchemist, who also serves as co-executive producer alongside Noyd, helping shape a cohesive soundscape. Additional production from Havoc, Sebb, and Noyd himself rounds out the albums sinistersound design.

The albums defining moment arrives with Shoot Em Up (Bang Bang) Part 1, a hard-hitting Alchemist production that remains one of Noyds most immediate and recognizable recordings. The street anthem Air It Out, featuring Havoc, delivers another raw highlight, followed by Noyd Holdin It Down, driven by head nodding synths and punchy drums from Alchemist and anchored by Havocs flawless guest appearance.
More than two decades later, Only The Strong remains a focused, uncompromising document of survival, loyalty, and street borneconviction.
