BAR:LOW – Number 1

With a first in their new series, Bar:Low couldn’t have set the bar higher. Describing their own work as “blended incantations for dancefloor situations”, there’s otherwise little sayable about the background of these sure-to-be underground Balearic hits, save for their innate, trailblazing edits elan. Focused squarely on Balearic disco, the A-side sports a reedit of French disco drummer and composer Cerrone’s 1997 resurrector ‘Supernature’, while the B goes chuggy with a Nine Inch Nails reinterpretive original, and the B-side rounds out on a slow, star-seeing daze, ‘Balearic Bruce’.
