With only two guitars and vocals, My Old Man was quickly recorded in August 1976 at Spaceward Studios in Victoria Street in Cambridge. It was a very basic place, comments lead guitarist Ron Turner. The recording budget was even more basic and the focus was on first takes. A mistake meant money, says Ron. An album that spells authenticity in so many words. These are original songs that were privately pressed and soon became a sought-after collector’s item.
